Videntifier

Videntifier builds video and image identification tools that help organizations identify and address illegal content online. Since 2012, its technology has been used by online platforms, law enforcement, and CSAM hotlines. Its products include Nexus, a content moderation API for UGC platforms and hosting services. Nexus LE is digital forensics software for law enforcement.

Videntifier has offices in Reykjavík, Iceland, and in Vilnius and Kaunas, Lithuania. Its leadership includes CEO Einar Sigurdsson, COO Sigurdur Ragnarsson, and CTO Ársæll Jóhannsson. The company has a patented vector database called NV-tree.

Nexus identifies known harmful images and videos at the point of upload. It works with Videntifier Visual Fingerprints, which identify known harmful video content regardless of how it has been modified or re-encoded. Nexus LE runs before investigation begins, as a digital forensic triage tool.
