Speechify

Speechify is a text to speech platform that reads text aloud, with voice typing and a voice AI assistant. It offers apps for the web, Chrome, iOS, Windows, Mac, Android and Edge. For creators and businesses, Speechify Studio provides an AI Voice Generator, AI Dubbing and an AI Voice Changer. It also provides a text to speech API.

Cliff Weitzman is the CEO and founder of Speechify. Weitzman is dyslexic and began using text to speech software to read a college summer reading book. He then spent his four years at Brown University improving the system. It is used in nearly 200 countries.

In 2025, Apple gave Speechify an Apple Design Award at WWDC. Weitzman was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2017.
