Sensity AI

Sensity AI is a deepfake detection company. Its product detects deepfakes in videos, images, and audio. It is offered as an application with API access, with cloud-based and on-premise deployment options. Its detection engine analyzes visual artifacts, acoustic patterns, metadata, behavioral cues, and cross-modal inconsistencies.

Sensity AI was founded late in 2018 by Giorgio Patrini and Francesco Cavalli. Patrini had been a postdoctoral researcher working on deep generative models at the University of Amsterdam.

Sensity AI states that it enables government and judicial authorities to verify the authenticity of digital evidence. Its analysis produces forensic reports intended for use in court proceedings. It has also published use cases covering child sexual abuse material and non-consensual intimate imagery.
