Prosopo

Prosopo is a bot and agent trust platform that detects and blocks automated traffic on websites and APIs. Its detection engine is delivered as a widget called Procaptcha or at the edge as Prosopo Protect, with Spam Filter available as an add-on. Procaptcha is a CAPTCHA widget that is offered as a replacement for reCAPTCHA and hCaptcha.

Prosopo is incorporated and engineered in the UK. Its widget stack is open source on GitHub, while the server-side detector library is proprietary. It offers EU-only verification endpoints on request.

Prosopo Protect is site-wide and API bot protection that sits in front of a customer's origin. It deploys on Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda@Edge, or as a server-side integration with nginx, Caddy or custom reverse proxies. Spam Filter blocks disposable email addresses and traffic from VPN, Tor, datacenter and abusive networks.
