Pangram Labs

Pangram Labs makes Pangram, an AI detector that identifies AI-generated text and images. Its text detector analyzes writing produced by models such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Llama and Claude. It serves universities, schools and enterprises. Pangram combines AI detection with plagiarism detection.

Max Spero and Bradley Emi met in their freshman year dorm at Stanford. They later teamed up to build Pangram Labs. Spero is CEO and co-founder. Emi is CTO and co-founder. Before Pangram, Spero worked on autonomous vehicles at Nuro. Emi previously led the deep learning research group at Absci, a generative AI drug discovery company.
