Gab

Gab is a social network owned and operated by Gab AI Inc., a private American company. It includes member-run groups, a marketplace, a business directory, video and live streaming. Gab Marketplace is where independent sellers list products directly. Gab Video handles long-form uploads, Gab Clips covers short vertical video, and Gab Live carries real-time broadcasts.

Andrew Torba founded Gab in 2016 and still runs it. Torba is chief executive and controlling owner of Gab AI Inc. The company is not publicly traded and is not backed by venture capital. Gab AI Inc. lists a mailing address in Clarks Summit, PA.

It was originally forked from Mastodon and has been developed separately since. Gab runs its own servers and processes its own payments for products such as GabPRO.
