About Apart Research
Apart Research is a nonprofit AI safety organization. It develops research and evaluations focused on harmful manipulation by advanced AI. Through Sprints and Fellowships, it helps researchers, engineers, and domain experts turn promising ideas into rigorous research. Sprints are weekend research hackathons on one AI safety topic, remote-first and open to anyone in the world. Fellowships are months of mentored research towards a paper, with the Apart Fellowship by invitation after a Sprint and Partnered Fellowships by direct application.
It has had more than 8,700 Sprint participants. It has published more than 60 publications in AI safety. Its CEO is Jaime Raldúa Veuthey.
It offers policymakers and public institutions empirical studies tied to policy questions, reproducible methods, and technical reporting.
